We will be using all the tools of the Discovery Center both on in-person days and virtual days, to include:
- Science On a Sphere® presentations
- Discovery Center Lab experiences
- LIVE, standards-based lessons and demonstrations
- Theme-specific, interactive activities
The Home Study Program will be offered each Wednesday, alternating between in-house and virtually, with themes and activities designed to engage learners on all levels. The Home Study Program is a great way to enrich your child's learning experience!
Home Study Program Stamp Book - Each paid child who attends the Discovery Center in-person Home Study Program has the opportunity to receive a stamp in their booklet by completing age appropriate questions in conjunction with that day's themed Scavenger Hunt. The stamps they collect will earn them tickets for an end-of-year drawing. (One Grand prize will be given away per grade level: K-5th, 6th-8th, 9th -12th )
In-person Home Study Program days at the Discovery Center will follow proper CDC COVID-19 precautions including: masks, social distancing and sanitizing. Parents must remain with their children at all times.
