Event Details:

Join us as we aim our telescopes at some of the most wonderful wonders in our night sky.

This month, we are focused on the Messier Catalogue.

What is the Messier Catalogue? The Messier objects are a set of 110 astronomical objects cataloged by French astronomer Charles Messier in his Catalogue des NĂ©buleuses et des Amas d’Étoiles. Because Messier was only interested in finding comets, he created a list of those non-comet objects that frustrated his hunt for them.
