Virtual 2020 Audience with an Astronaut

-THANK YOU you to everyone that participated in this years LIVE Virtual 2020 Audience with an Astronaut 5-part series sponsored by the USAFA Office of STEM Outreach.

Audience with an Astronaut featured retired Astronaut Lt. Col. Duane “Digger” Carey

  • Flew the A-10A Thunderbolt II and the F-16 Falcon in the Airforce
  • STS 109 Mission Space Shuttle Pilot
  • Assisted in upgrading the Hubble Space Telescope
  • Orbited the Earth 165 times and covered 3.9 million miles in space

Session 5: March 16, 2021 - "It Takes a Team: STEAM Careers Video"(A look at the types of aerospace and space careers that are available for the next generation
