Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Educator Training Scholarship

Through a generous gift from Dr. Rochelle Abrams, the Space Foundation is excited to announce the Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Educator Scholarship Training Program. Nine teachers from across the United States will have the opportunity to attend a three-day, fully scholarshiped, Space Across the Curriculum educator professional development workshop held at the Space Foundation Discovery Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The scholarship will pay for:

Space Across the Curriculum Professional Development
Teachers in the AGI Space Missions Simulation Lab.
  • travel to and from Colorado Springs (economy level air fare),

  • hotel accommodations (will be prearranged by the Space Foundation),

  • meals,

  • transportation to and from airport to hotel,

  • transportation to and from hotel to the Space Foundation Discovery Center,

  • tuition for the class, minus a $75 processing fee,

  • all of the materials to teach and promote the content to your colleagues,

  • and a $500 stipend for participating in the class and educating your colleagues.

The class will be open to an additional 11 educators. Cost for the class is $150 and you are responsible for all travel expenses.
