Event Details:

Deck the halls and celebrate the holidays with the Discovery Center!

We’re counting down to Christmas with our special guests, NORAD Tracks Santa and the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). We’ll also be taking non-perishable food donations to benefit WWP families over the holidays while celebrating a great year in space.

Come wearing your ugliest (or geekiest) holiday sweater for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

Space Foundation Discovery Center Store will be open 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for last minute holiday shopping and stocking stuffers.

  • “Space Station Vacation” book signing brought to you by the author herself, Darlina Chambers Eichman! Please visit her station in the gallery from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Darlina Chambers Eichman enjoyed her educational career, teaching science for grades K-9, the Space Foundation (under NASA contracts), and technology-based educational corporations. Today she takes pleasure in writing fiction about characters who have futuristic adventures. Darlina’s published work includes several short stories and her most recent picture book Space Station Vacation.
