Event Details:

As we continue The Search for Life, today we will get to journey above the Arctic Circle and have a live chat with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution lead scientist, Dr. Anna Michel.

Coming to Space Foundation Discovery Center live via Zoom from the Canadian High Arctic Research Station, Dr. Anna will talk with us about her team’s research in the arctic and why arctic research is so important.

We will also discuss how arctic research here on Earth helps us better understand The Search for Life on frozen, ocean worlds in our solar system like Jupiter’s moon Europa and Saturn’s moon Enceladus.

No need to pack your parka – while Dr. Anna will be live in the Arctic, we get to stay right here in lovely Colorado Springs.
