Kris Winchell is responsible for overseeing the Space Foundation Discovery Center field trip and educational program reservations, as well as providing support for facility and event bookings. She also manages the scholarship opportunities with the Space Foundation for schools throughout Colorado and nationwide. In working with the Discovery Center team, she is responsible for logistics and coordination of various educational projects and Discovery Center programs.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New Mexico State University.
Winchell and her family made Colorado home in 2006 after having the opportunity to live in different parts of the country and overseas with the Air Force.
