Rachel English is the Curator/Registrar of the Discovery Center. She assists the Director in developing and maintaining exhibitions, while working to collect, preserve and document objects in the museum collection. She is also responsible for coordinating arrangements for special exhibitions, and assists with the gallery and collections volunteers.

English earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Hendrix College, and began her museum career as an intern at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum before going on to work in museums in Colorado, Virginia and the UK. She earned a master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, with a focus on historical interpretation and collections care.
